Launch / Checklist / 7 min read
The quieter work behind a good launch.
A launch is a coordinated set of promises. Make sure the product, the storefront, and the team can keep them.
LLC FIELD NOTES / A PRACTICAL WORKING GUIDE
01
Check the customer journey
Follow the path from discovery to delivery as if you have never seen the brand before. Small inconsistencies become expensive at launch.
- Read the product promise against the actual specification.
- Check pricing, stock, shipping, and return information.
- Make the support contact easy to find.
02
Assign an owner
Every launch-critical task needs a person, a deadline, and a fallback. A shared list alone does not create accountability.
- Name an owner for each dependency.
- Record go/no-go criteria.
- Prepare a fallback for delayed assets or inventory.
03
Plan the first review
Decide what you will learn from the launch before it begins. Keep early signals separate from long-term conclusions.
- Define a measurement window.
- Capture customer questions and support themes.
- Schedule a review with decisions, not just charts.
